A static page becomes a self-publishing application
A site that had to be hand-edited every week now publishes media, bulletins, and calendar entries from connected source systems. The completed build recorded a 100 Lighthouse score across all four categories at verification.

The problem
The existing site was a single static page. Every sermon, bulletin, and event had to be edited by hand, which meant content went stale between updates and the people responsible for it were spending hours a week on data entry. The page was also heavy and slow, and it did not surface in search for the terms visitors actually used. A significant share of the congregation speaks Spanish, and live services had no practical way to reach them.
What we built
Rebuilt as an application, not a page
The site became a real web application with content driven by data sources rather than hand-edited markup. Structure, schema, and metadata were built in from the start rather than retrofitted.
Three automated content pipelines
Livestreams and sermons sync from YouTube, bulletins update from approved sources, and the events calendar syncs from Google Calendar behind access controls, with a 90-day forward scheduling horizon so the site stays current without anyone touching it.
Performance as a requirement
Payload dropped 91%. The completed build recorded a 100 Lighthouse score across performance, accessibility, best practices, and SEO at verification.
Veravox, built for this problem
The language gap needed real-time translation, and hiring human interpreters for every service was not sustainable. We built a pipeline that transcribes live audio, translates it, and generates natural speech in Spanish. That system became Veravox, now a product in its own right.
The outcome
The organization can publish media and events through connected source systems, the site recorded a 100 Lighthouse score at verification, and Spanish-speaking listeners can use Veravox during supported live sessions.

There was no sermons page before. This one did not replace anything. It builds itself from the church YouTube channel, so nobody adds a video to it by hand.
